Chris runs and operates Groove Merchant records in San Francisco. 35 years of house calls surrounding obsessive collectors has provided inspiration and source material for much of his present day work. Ephemeral detritus, and well aged counter culture debris in the form of scrap paper provides the canvas for much of his work. A background in illustration and custom hand lettering informs the direction and marries the two.
