Curator, photographer and multidisciplinary artist, Karen Walker Chamberlin began exploring methods of survival to combat severe PTSD after a catastrophic medical trauma. She has printed over 1000 4x5 darkroom prints in reaction to her accidental heart puncture as a means of healing and recovery. During this process of recovery, her town was decimated by the Eaton Fire. Living with consecutive catastrophes and finding ways to process individual and community grief was the catalyst for this exhibition. instagram: @karenwalkerchamberlin
