TACKLE ME GENTLY
"Tackle Me Gently" is an exploration of tension—physical, emotional, and psychological. Through bold brushstrokes and dynamic figures, this collection of works invites viewers to step into a world of conflicting energies, where the delicate balance between struggle and release is constantly negotiated. Each piece delves into the spaces between impact and vulnerability, movement and stillness, resistance and surrender, revealing the invisible yet palpable forces that shape our inner and outer worlds.
Pulling from a wide range of influences, these paintings confront the often-contradictory nature of being a person. I aim to depict the internal conflicts we all face—the tension of holding on versus letting go, and how those dynamics affect our perception of ourselves and others.
The works in "Tackle Me Gently" seek to capture that tension, not as something to resolve, but as an essential part of the human experience. Through each brushstroke, viewers are encouraged to reflect on how tension shapes their own emotional landscapes, and perhaps find beauty in the struggle itself
