Collection: SPLENDOR : by Cynci Cutter

SPLENDOR : Fragility and permanence, botanicals and still life paintings, by Cynci Cutter, showcases lush works, focused on the secret life of plants. In a semiotic dance of form and color, these works carefully consider the fragility of life while evoking the humid, earthy scent that questions the very nature of permanence.

The still life paintings are a direct response to a simple gathering of ordinary materials. Cutter uses bold patterning and abstracted elements to organize and prioritize expressive interpretation over realism in her comments on the pleasures and transience of life.
