Please Donate to CHIRLA

It's frightening that in the United States of America we have to protest in order to have due process and humane treatement for our immigrant community.

But here we are.

Floral Bouquet Making - Supporting DTLA flower vendors

Lidia Garcia, ACSW, CHt, Pasadena-based Community Leader

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

We are stronger together. This past year has tested us with fires, ICE offences, and personal challenges. Through it all, our communities have continued and can continue to show up for each other. Held By is a women's support series to honor and nurture resilience.

Join for the onset of our intimate gatherings to slow down, share from the heart, connect deeply, and make something beautiful by hand. You’ll be guided in mindfulness restoration, by Lidia Garcia, Pasadena-based Associate Clinical Social Worker and Hypnotherapist, and have a moment to create your own floral bouquet – a living reminder of what can bloom when we nurture ourselves and one another.

All flowers are sourced from the DTLA Flower District, supporting local vendors affected by unjust immigration enforcement.

When we support each other, we all thrive.
