Ana Bagayan

"CHAOS THEORY : ART BY ANA BAGAYAN is a visual exploration of Chaos Theory. the artist’s paintings dive into the Theory as it relates to The Golden Ratio. 

While studying Chaos, Bagayan discovered a hidden thread within the work of other chaos scientists - The golden ratio. This show blurs the line between art and science.

The artist has documented occurrences of this phenomenon in nature, economics, the stock market and the world around us. Bagayan’s new work explores these connections and patterns.  Using a hand-held Fibonacci gauge, the artist worked with measurements of the golden ratio to "emulate properties of deterministic chaos."

Known for her futuristic, 'surreallustrative' work, Ana has been quietly studying fractals and Chaos Theory.   The Chaos Theory work spans 2021 to 2025.

We are happy to show it for collection! There will be a talk by the artist on March 22nd at 7PM in the gallery.
