While the U.S. Was protesting for "NO KINGS" day, the gallery had an opening planned later in the evening. The LMF hosted a joyous celebration of art and community in solidarity with the protests (many of us attended earlier in the day), We know that the power of our art unites us and can speak volumes in these tulmultuous times. The LMF was proud to open this show of DIY, Street and Public Artists. Please visit the gallery through July 5th 2025. The Gallery hours are Wed-Sat. 12:30-6PM
Here's the show statement from Artist / Curator, Cheyne Ellet
ALL TOGETHER NOW BRINGS TOGETHER 21 ARTISTS WORKING ACROSS ILLUSTRATION, PAINTING, CERAMICS, AND THE BOLD VISUAL LANGUAGE OF STREET AND DIY CULTURE. THOUGH EACH ARTIST BRINGS A UNIQUE APPROACH, THEY SHARE A COMMITMENT TO MAKING WORK THAT COMMUNICATES SOMETIMES LOUDLY, SOMETIMES QUIETLY, BUT ALWAYS DIRECTLY. THE EXHIBITION ACTS AS A CHORUS OF STYLES AND INFLUENCES WHERE NARRATIVE AND ABSTRACTION COLLIDE, CHARACTERS EMERGE, AND IDEAS BOUNCE ACROSS THE SPACE. LIKE A STICKER COVERED LIGHT POLE OR A COLLABORATIVE MURAL, THE WORK CELEBRATES DIFFERENCE AND CONNECTION, OFFERING A SNAPSHOT OF CREATIVE MOMENTUM AND SHARED ENERGY.
